Reflections from 2021

With the end of the year quickly approaching, this is always a good time to rest and reflect. We have much to be thankful for, but here are a few things I’m particularly proud of from the past year:

  1. In 2021, we celebrated our fifth anniversary. From our humble beginnings to where we are today, we have learned and grown as a team, all while keeping the spirit of why we formed Wasson Enterprise: being hands-on partners with a passion for fostering growth and adding value to those we work with. There’s no doubt we’ve learned a lot over the past five years, and we are well on our way to our mission of creating a meaningful legacy by building businesses that have a lasting positive impact as we hit this milestone.
  2. Our portfolio continues to grow, and our excitement for their future does as well. We’ve grown our portfolio with partnerships, funds and direct investments, and even launched our first SPAC. Our portfolio has set their sights on making big waves within their respective industries, and we’re excited to be along for the ride. We have been honored to champion and support our partners, and can’t wait to see what next year brings.
  3. Lastly, and of the most personal celebrations this year, our daughter Lindsay became co-president, along my side. Starting a family office was at its core just about that – creating a family legacy. Lindsay has been an invaluable asset to our partners, becoming a strategic confidante, helping them build value and lifting up their efforts in ways even I didn’t expect. It’s been a real joy to watch as she begins to take a larger seat at the Wasson Enterprise table, and her vision for WE is impressive. Working with family can be a challenge for some, but for us, it’s been a source of strength and something we are extremely proud of.

This year has been all about adding value, and providing support to our partners, as we push towards a vibrant, longstanding future. We are glad to reflect on this journey with you, and look forward to what is to come next.
